STI announces the Weather Stopper^® , a cover to protect flush mounted pull stations from indoor/outdoor environments. This strong, durable cover takes the toughest knocks while it guards against physical damage. The unique and patented device has been helping stop false fire alarms around the world for more than 25 years, without restricting legitimate alarms.

This super tough cover (STI-1250) is especially useful in increasing the lifespan of units in wet environments. Cover helps dramatically to extend the reliability of weather exposed manual pull stations, push buttons and similar devices. Models available with spacer (STI-3150) or with warning horn (STI-1150 - flush mount and STI-1155 - surface mount). There is also a spacer available to accommodate ¾ in. rigid conduit (STI-3104).

Weather Stopper has been tested and approved by fire prevention authorities including but not limited to UL, cUL, CSFM, ADA and is listed to NEMA 3R Standards. The cover is UV-stabilized against discoloration and protects against damage from dust and grime. It also carries a lifetime warranty against breakage of the polycarbonate in normal use.
