UL Listed fire alarm with cover

STI offers an advanced, patented, ADA Compliant push button unit that has been UL Listed for use in fire alarm systems. "This new fire "push" station is molded in red with raised letters and symbols", announced Margie Gobler, president and CEO of the family-operated company.

"We designed our Stopper Station® Model SS-2050F push button and cover with features to complement fire alarm systems, yet designed to sell at a very competitive price," she stated. As other members of STI's full line of multipurpose push button units, it incorporates a unique "in-set" button that helps stop accidental activation. The device is easy enough to activate with a clubbed fist or an elbow, yet the curved design helps avoid accidental activation.

Along with "Push-to-Activate" and "Key-to-Reset" activation, the SS-2050F features a tough polycarbonate faceplate with the word FIRE and flame (fire) symbols molded into it and stainless steel backplate. The standard switch includes two N.O. contacts and holds up to three sets of isolated contacts either N.O. or N.C.

The FIRE button is further protected by the STI Mini Weather Stopper® Cover. The cover protects against vandalism, damage, dust and grime. The cover is indoor/outdoor rated, allowing the push button to be installed in various conditions.

Stopper Station is UL/cUL Listed, CSFM Approved and ADA Compliant.
