December 16, 2008 - This clear, super tough, polycarbonate enclosure with a flat-top rectangular design protects keypads, annunciators and other electronic products. It is ideal for protecting a wide range of larger devices, components and sensitive units from vandalism and accidental damage as well as the weather, dirt, dust and grime.

Called the STI Polycarbonate Enclosure (STI-7511 series), it comes with an exterior thumb lock and offers a choice of six back boxes to accommodate both new and retrofit applications. The cover and lock help deter unauthorized users from tampering with important electronic units.

The varieties of back boxes offered are:
A - Enclosed deep back box (depth is 4.50 in.)
B - Enclosed back box with double-gang electrical box (depth is 1.74 in.)
C - Open back box for flush mount applications (depth is 2.95 in.)
D - Open conduit back box, surface mount applications (depth is 3.98 in.)
E - Open back box for flush mount applications (depth is 2.20 in.)
F - Enclosed back box (depth is 2.79 in.)

The cover is backed by a lifetime guarantee against breakage in normal use. It has a 94V-2 flammability rating and installation is fast and easy. Mounting hardware and gaskets are included. Enclosures also available with a key lock (STI-7510 series).
