And the Honorable Mention Goes to...

STI had the privilege of receiving an honorable mention under the 'Best in Wireless' section at the 2011 ISC New Product Showcase (NPS).
The NPS was established to recognize innovative products, services and solutions in electronic physical security. The technologies showcased through the program must be used in the protection of life and property in residential, commercial or institutional settings.
A judging and awards program was held at the ISC West Show in April. During that time, the NPS program recognizes new product's and awards winners for Best New Product, Judges' Choice and other winners in various product and service categories.
The features that make the 8-Channel Receiver (STI-34108) worthy of an honorable mention are straightforward. It allows the user to monitor up to 8 different STI devices at a single, convenient location and alerts of several different conditions occurring around the monitored area.
The receiver measures 5 ¼
x 5 ¾x 1 ¼", has a 1000 foot range and is supervised for low battery and connection. It has dual antennas for increased signal strength and offers a mirroring function which works with up to four additional receivers.
The unique receiver can monitor devices such as: open/closed garage door, mail delivery, car in the driveway, open exit door, removed fire extinguisher, fence, gate, shed, medicine cabinet, etc. Click here to view the STI Wireless Alerts available from STI.

STI Products Work!
We were having a problem with false fire alarms in a new college dormitory so we recommended installing STI Stopper II devices over the manual pull stations. They have proved to be a good deterrent.
